Our Partnership Model
Sherwood Investment Group brings together two categories of partners:
1. Contributing Partners
We are looking for qualified professionals, entrepreneurs and experienced business people who can contribute specialist knowledge, practical skills and industry experience to the businesses we establish or acquire.
Depending on the requirements of each business, we may seek partners with expertise in areas such as:
- Social media marketing and digital advertising
- Accounting, bookkeeping and financial management
- Business management and administration
- Sales, marketing and business development
- Industry-specific technical skills and experience
- Professionals who own or operate an existing business in a relevant industry
- Other specialists who can contribute to the growth and profitability of a business
Our objective is to build a team of capable people whose individual skills and experience complement one another.
2. Private Investors
We also welcome private investors who wish to participate financially in individual business projects or, where offered, in Sherwood Investment Group’s broader investment activities.
Investors provide the capital required to establish, acquire, develop or expand businesses. Their participation and potential returns will be determined by the investment structure and terms agreed upon for each opportunity.
How Contributing Partners Participate
Our approach is based on shared ownership and long-term value creation.
Contributing Partners will not receive a salary, hourly wage or other payment for their time and services. Instead, they will have the opportunity to receive an equity interest or shares in the relevant business.
The equity allocated to each partner will be negotiated individually, taking into account factors such as:
- The importance of the partner’s role in the business
- The specialist skills, qualifications and experience contributed
- The time, commitment and ongoing involvement required
- The value the partner is expected to bring to the business
- The responsibilities undertaken and the overall contribution to the project’s success
Each partnership will be structured to reflect the particular needs and circumstances of the business concerned.
Partners may be reimbursed for approved, actual business expenses incurred on behalf of the business. These may include expenses such as social media advertising, digital marketing campaigns, travel or other agreed project-related costs. All reimbursements will be subject to the applicable approval procedures and the terms agreed upon.
Recognition Through Profit Sharing
We recognise that the time, expertise and commitment of our contributing partners are valuable.
Rather than paying for time worked, our model is designed to reward contributions through an agreed share of the business’s profits and, where applicable, distributions to shareholders.
The profit-sharing arrangements will be negotiated and documented for each project. They will take into account the partner’s agreed participation, the ownership structure and the financial arrangements of the business.
Equity ownership and profit-sharing rights will be clearly defined in the relevant agreements. The timing and amount of any distributions will depend on the business’s financial performance, available funds and applicable legal requirements.
Our intention is to create a partnership in which the rewards for contributing partners are linked to the value they help create.

Starting New Businesses
We identify business opportunities and bring together the relevant expertise, management capabilities and investment capital to establish new enterprises.
Acquiring Existing Businesses
We seek to acquire established businesses with potential for growth, improved profitability or operational development. Contributing partners may assist in managing, improving and expanding these businesses.
In both cases, we aim to match the right people and financial resources with the right business opportunity.
